Alice Williams

Physiotherapist & Adolescent Physiotherapist

Alice is one of our Specialist Adolescent (12-17 years old) MSK Physiotherapist as well as an experienced Adult MSK Physiotherapist & Acupuncturist

Your Why: My own experiences of injury and rehabilitation have inspired me to help others recover and achieve their goals, while also sparking my interest in understanding how the body works. That curiosity naturally led me to enjoy the problem-solving side of physiotherapy. I enjoy getting to know each individual, understanding what’s really causing their pain and working together to create a treatment plan that fits their goals and lifestyle. For me, physiotherapy is about more than treating injuries—it’s about helping people regain confidence, move with less pain, and get back to the activities they enjoy most.

The Reassurance: I qualified as a physiotherapist at the University of Southampton 5 years ago and am registered with the HCPC, CSP and AACP. Throughout my career, I’ve gained experience across a wide range of NHS specialties, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, adults with learning disabilities, cystic fibrosis and hydrotherapy. I have experience assessing and treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions in both adults and adolescents, and I have additional qualifications in sports massage and acupuncture. I have a particular interest in the long-term management of rheumatological conditions, having led hydrotherapy sessions for the National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society.

The Real You: Outside of work, I am a keen runner, especially when the route takes me along the seafront and finishes with a sea-dip to cool off. When I’m home, you’ll usually find me planning my next DIY project or convincing myself that knocking down one more wall is a great idea.

Quick-fire:

Coffee Choice: A latte (bonus points if it’s paired with a good pastry)

Sunday Morning: Catching up with friends at church, followed by a long seaside walk in the sun and a hearty roast dinner!
