Laura Holdway

Community Physiotherapist

Laura is an experienced Orthopaedic Physiotherapist, having many years experience in both private and NHS settings.

Your ‘Why’: The best part about my role is getting to work with people in their own homes, solving real life problems and getting them back to what really matters! Be that getting increasing confidence and independence back at home after an operation or fall, or being able to walk the dog, get down to a local shop, or even get to the local pub!

The Boring Bit: I have been a Chartered Physiotherapist for nearly twenty years and have a background in Trauma and Orthopaedics. I am HCPC registered as well as AACP (I can provide acupuncture).  My ongoing passion is for falls prevention and all things balance!

The Real Me: When I am not wearing my Physio hat, I am Mum to my two children and gorgeous cocker spaniel so am often found exploring the local country side, cheering my son’s football team from the side lines or sneaking some quiet time with a good book whilst my daughter is at gymnastics.

Quick-fire:

Coffee – milky and sweet

Favourite way to move – walking, Pilates and a little strength training

Guilty Pleasure – hitting the dance floor to cheesy tunes.
